Included are over 80 plug-ins with instruments, synths and effects covering sample playback, synthesises, compression, delay, filtering, flanging, chorus, reverb, bit-crushing and so much more, allowing you to create virtually any sound in the box. On top of these major updates are also a range of improvements and bugfixes for a faster working experience, as well as updates to 25 of FL Studio's plug-ins.įL Studio offers a whole host of tools that allow you to create full and professional productions. The final major update is Plug-In Delay Compensation (PDC), for faster, smoother working and less latency. Another new update is playlist arrangements, allowing you to work with multiple versions of your project, saving ideas, sound design and 'arrangements'. You can now bounce selected parts and pattern clips to audio, render clips to audio, and replace playlist pattern clips to save your CPU. FL Studio now supports Time Signatures, allowing for unlimited Time Signature changes at any point in both the Playlist and Patterns. New customers can unlock both Windows and Mac versions with one license for the both of them. Now users of Mac can also enjoy Fruity Loops! FL supports macOS 10.11 and higher, with native 64-bit application support for Mac VST and AU plug-ins, as well as third party plugins, allowing you to interchange projects between Windows and Mac easily, meaning collaborations with budding producers is easy. This shotgun is chambered in hard-hitting 12GA and will accept up to 3″ shells. This is an AR-12 platform shotgun that follows the same standard manual of arms as the AR-15 rifle, which makes this shotgun not only ergonomic but comfortable for most individuals to pick up and start shooting. This incredible G-Force GFAR1220 delivers robust reliability and is ideal for home defense, competitive shooting, or hunting. Overall for the money it is pretty awesome and if it starts cycling lighter loads later on in its life that would be another huge plus. Takedown is simple and mostly tooless which is nice since it will need to be cleaned often for peak reliability. The actual build quality and construction is solid, lots of Stainless steel in the operating system and the upper is made out of solid aluminum that is a little heavy and rigid. There is an obnoxious break in period that can be quite expensive in today’s market and even after several hundred hot rounds it won’t always cycle the lighter loads and GForce recommends 1300FPS and higher for reliable cycling. They do make them in higher 8 and 10 round capacities as well though I don’t have any experience with them. Magazines are solid and heavy but do not drop free. The trigger is not interchangeable but is good enough for a shotgun. The stock is fixed and can only be adjusted for comb height which doesn’t need to be adjusted at all. The solid polymer lower is basically a clone of the AR manual of arms which is excellent though it isn’t quite as flexible. The Turkish made GForce AR12 is a pretty good blend of AR and shotgun. The revolutionary preachers of "American Idiot" avoid taking themselves too seriously on the road, showing us that, at heart, they're first and foremost entertainers. Still, in contrast to most stadium rock bands, Green Day try very hard (and partly succeed) to retain some intimacy with their fans despite the size of the place. He's gone past that, and anyway his audience seem like emo kids rather than punks. So what? He doesn't need a certificate of punk authenticity. Billie Joe runs up and down the stage like Mick Jagger, nobody's idea of a punk rocker - just compare him to the leering audience-baiting Johnny Rotten, or the hunched-shoulders/hair-down stance of Joey Ramone. They handle it like arena rock pros, beefing up the sound with extra guitars, horns and keyboards, employing stage props and giant screens. This CD/DVD is recorded before one of the biggest audiences Green Day (or any punk band) ever played. The sheer ambition of that project already set them apart from the punk rock crowd, and when they took the show on the road they took it even further. "Bullet in a Bible" was shot during the American Idiot Tour, and features most of the songs from that album - one which saw Green Day depart from the punk pop of their earlier albums to play thoughtful ballads ("September", "Broken Dreams") and rock mini-operas ("Jesus Of Suburbia") inspired by The Who, all in service of a concept album seriously attempting to paint the big picture of American society under a conservative warmongering government. Billie Joe kept talking to the audience and tried to get them more involved, sing along etc - in concert, this works better than on the CD. the King for a Day/Shout medley, though the Amsterdam version also contained snippets of "Hey Jude" and "Satisfaction"). Both concerts used an expanded band (from 3 people in the studio to 6 for the concerts) and a lot of the songs were performed in a similar manner (i.e. They were just as enthusiastic and energetic as their younger selves, and didn't even look a day older. Bush inspired them to create their masterpiece "American Idiot", imagine what the ever more colourful Trump will.Īfter the gig I went home and played my "Bullet in a Bible" DVD, to see how much they've changed in the 12 years separating the two concerts. Republican ultra-right presidents certainly energize them: if George W. Of course, they also had a lot to say about the new U.S president: "Fuck Donald Trump" was their rather unambiguous message, while they dedicated "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" to the refugees Trump turned away in one of his first presidential decisions. There weren't the usual giant screens, so you had to look straight at them - which helped in creating more intimacy. He continuously addressed the crowd, and had fans get up on stage to sing and play guitar along with the band - actually gave his guitar away to a lucky fan, now that's a souvenir! Ziggo arena (15.000+ capacity) was the perfect size, big enough for Billie Joe to run around and for the show effects (huge flames, light show, tons of confetti) but also not so big that you'd lose sight of the band. The band had tremendous energy and Billie Joe kept the audience on their toes, proving once again he's mastered the art of stadium rock. It was a fantastic gig that exceeded my expectations. A few days ago I was at a Green Day concert in Amsterdam, part of their "Revolution Radio" tour. THIRD: Don’t leave an open space in the corner behind it like you have in your photo. With the smaller, low-lipped opening and the high walls all around, it’s an excellent space for them to do their business. The sloping sides of that one makes it difficult for them to distinguish between “in” and “out”. And if they decide to violate that perimeter it’s an easier clean-up. This establishes a “perimeter” that they’ll explore and come to understand. Wrong litter pan, wrong litter, wrong placement, wrong presentation.įIRST: Lay down one of those doggy wee-wee pads in the corner. There is also Texas Lumens for a more exotic look. What Nitrolons are you talking about? The modern LED verions are totally different construction and have all metal heads and are not P60 compatible, although you can now buy P60 heads for those series of lights. > Certainly that's a problem but if they sell models that output 600 lumens, They are some of my favorite series of lights, perhaps ever. > I think the plastics don't scuff up like aluminum does, they're nicer to hold in the cold, and they're light weight. I initially was buying a different silica gel litter in larger bulk quantities to save a little money over using their official refills, but I never found a source that was that much cheaper than the official refills, and the convenience of (1) having the refills be measured out to a good amount to just dump in the box and go and (2) setting them up on Amazon Prime subscription is worth the premium to me. I bought the reusable plastic liner along with the official litter packs and it's worked great. On that note, their official refills are basically just cardboard boxes filled with silica gel litter (and lined with a liquid-impermeable material). And the only issue with that is that stepping on tracked-out silica gel litter is one step below stepping on Legos. The only catch is that you must use silica gel litter for it to work (clumping litters will fuck up the rake, I think). Also, it doesn't make a big difference because the silica gel litter takes care of the odor well enough that I don't notice any difference in that. It could even be the cat messing with it (he likes to clean his paws after using the litter box by rubbing them really hard on the sides of the box). There is kindof a weird thing where the little lid that covers up the poop-holding compartment sometimes will get stuck open, but I can't figure out if that's a design flaw or if my toddlers are messing with it. I've never had the rake get stuck or mess up or anything. It's kindof infomercially, but it works quite well. They like a bit of height so giving them a perch with a vantage point is a good choice :) Our cats don't have set beds and end up lounging on the back of the couch, so if you're sensitive to smooshed couch cushions I'd keep that in mind. Our cats like to stretch long when they scratch and the short posts just don't do the job. They eat a combo of wet Friskie's pate and freeze dried Meat Mates raw.Ī TALL cat scratching post, or a medium (or larger) cat tree is a must. Our boy cat developed diabetes (even on "high protein" dry food) so we only do wet or raw, and honestly knowing what I know now, I'll never feed a cat dry food again. Our boy cat mostly watches the toys go by, but drop a balled up receipt on the floor and he goes nuts. Our cats enjoy fishing pole type toys the most, and they're fun for cat parents too :) We also have a couple small stuffies that our girl cat likes. Our cats do fine in the Catit Jumbo Hooded Litter Pan keywords=catit+litter+box&qid=1620852464&sr=8-2, but honestly with the pine litter we don't really need the top. We buy the Trader Joe's brand or Feline Pine depending on what's convenient/on sale. Minimal tracking, very little odor, and really easy to deal with. We use pine litter with our cats and we LOVE it. In 1757 Swiss scientist Horace-Bénédict de Saussure made the first of several unsuccessful attempts on Mont Blanc in France. The Age of Enlightenment and the Romantic era marked a change of attitudes towards high mountains. The Enlightenment and the Golden Age of Alpinism Edward Whymper (1840–1911), painting by Lance Calkin The highest they are known for certain to have climbed is 6739 m at the summit of Volcan Llullaillaco. In the Andes, around the late 1400s and early 1500s many ascents were made of extremely high peaks by the Incas and their subjects. Ĭonrad Gessner, a mid-16th Century physician, botanist and naturalist from Switzerland, is widely recognized as being the first person to hike and climb for sheer pleasure. Because ropes, ladders and iron hooks were used, and because it was the first climb of any technical difficulty to be officially verified, this ascent is widely recognized as being the birth of mountaineering. A commonly cited example is the 1492 ascent of Mont Aiguille (2,085 m (6,841 ft)) by Antoine de Ville, a French military officer and lord of Domjulien and Beaupré. įor most of antiquity, climbing mountains was a practical or symbolic activity, usually undertaken for economic, political, or religious purposes. The famous poet Petrarch describes his 26 April 1336 ascent of Mount Ventoux (1,912 m (6,273 ft)) in one of his epistolae familiares, claiming to be inspired by Philip V of Macedon's ascent of Mount Haemo. Nonetheless, there are many documented examples of people climbing mountains prior to the formal development of the sport in the 19th century, although many of these stories are sometimes considered fictional or legendary. However, the highest mountains were rarely visited early on, and were often associated with supernatural or religious concepts. The remains of Ötzi, who lived in the 4th millennium BC, were found in a glacier in the Ötztal Alps. Humans have been present in mountains since prehistory. Mountaineering impacts communities on economic, political, social and cultural levels, often leading to changes in people's worldviews influenced by globalization, specifically foreign cultures and lifestyles. The consequences of mountaineering on the natural environment can be seen in terms of individual components of the environment (land relief, soil, vegetation, fauna, and landscape) and the location/zone of mountaineering activity (hiking, trekking, or climbing zone). A federation of alpine clubs, the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA), is the International Olympic Committee-recognized world organization for mountaineering and climbing. Numerous local alpine clubs support mountaineers by hosting resources and social activities. Unlike most sports, mountaineering lacks widely applied formal rules, regulations, and governance mountaineers adhere to a large variety of techniques and philosophies when climbing mountains. Yet, in competitive mountaineering, the success rate of females is currently higher than that of males. Although women's participation in mountaineering has grown, the gender gap is still pronounced in terms of quantitative engagement in these forms of sport tourism. Mountaineering activity, involving such activities as mountain climbing and trekking, has traditionally been dominated by men. Indoor climbing, sport climbing, and bouldering are also considered variants of mountaineering by some, but are part of a wide group of mountain sports. Mountaineering-related activities include traditional outdoor climbing, skiing, and traversing via ferratas that have become sports in their own right. Mountaineering, mountain climbing, or alpinism, is a set of outdoor activities that involves ascending mountains.
